We have grown from supplying our loyal followers through direct orders to over 1000 stockists including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Ocado and Wholefoods in just 3 years. We are a purpose driven brand, but an ambitious one too - we aim to have thousands of stockists all over the UK and Europe. Our journey started in Spain, where Amelia first tried a judión de la granja during her Erasmus in Madrid. She was amazed by the quality - and decided to bring this incredible tasting bean back to the UK. Turns out that bean was delicious because of two things - the expert sourcing - but also from the cooking method found in the conservas tradition. That’s why we still produce our award-winning beans in Spain and are looking for someone to help manage our supply chain here.

What are we looking for:

We’re looking for a SUPERSTAR operations executive with at least 2 years of experience to join our Spanish branch full time, with a passion for excellence, detail and high standards. Our mission is to give people the best of beans and we need you to make sure we have a consistent supply of the best tasting products. This will be achieved by building meaningful relationships with our supply base and improving our quality and availability. You will be the guardian of the quality of our incredible beans!

Responsibilities:

We need to find a passionate, hungry self-starter. Some of their responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with all our suppliers
• Managing production with our co-manufacturers to improve availability of finished products
• Improving availability of our raw materials
• Improving availability of other materials (labels, cases, glass jars, lids)
• Support contracts negotiations with suppliers and raw materials suppliers to get us the best pricing
• Ensuring we have the highest quality across all our products
• Owning the customer complaint process from start to finish
• Arranging and managing quality audits of all of our suppliers
• Analysing data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement

Education and experience requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food company with responsibility for quality
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Safety and Security
• Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results in a fast paced environment
• English C1
• Fluent in Spanish
• Proficiency in Excel
• Passion for food and cooking
